North Park Gastropub Joining the Sky Deck Lineup

The final roster of food items tenants for the ambitious Sky Deck venture at Del Mar Highlands City Centre is taking form in preparation for its early 2021 debut. Craft Property, a fixture in North Park, will be the penultimate eatery to be a part of the lineup. Having in excess of as the restaurant ingredient of Rip Recent Brewing’s area on 30th Road in 2018, Craft Household started as a food stuff truck known as Monster Crafts in 2015.

Proprietor/govt chef Caesar Huerta is bringing his acquire on modern-day American delicacies fused with Mexican flavors to the Carmel Valley food collective, transplanting a menu that features bar bites, tacos, mac and cheese, and his signature monster burgers, manufactured with a mix of chuck, quick rib, and brisket, that includes the Surf N’ Turf which pairs the beef patty with grilled shrimp and the Wake N’ Bake topped with pork belly and a fried egg.

Huerta tells Eater that he’ll be introducing a whole lot more seafood options to the Sky Deck location, from charred octopus and steamed mussels to ahi tostadas and a variety of ceviche.

Alexis Dachs of Location Matters, which is leasing the entire venue, says that there is just one food place remaining which is in the remaining levels of negotiations. Dachs represented Craft Residence in the offer, and explained, “This is an outstanding option for chef Caesar to expand his cafe model in such a monumental undertaking. We were focusing on a great American principle for the Sky Deck and his expertise and enthusiasm is specifically what we were being looking for.”
